Prepare Children for Tomorrow
Prepare children and youth so they learn supported by strong families in healthy, safe environments.

Why We Care
United Way understands that helping children get off to a good start, perform well in school and avoid risky behavior is critical to ensuring future success. We also know that new research on brain development shows the importance of health, nutrition, and intellectual stimulation during the first years of life.

How We Do It
We conduct on-going research to assess our community's needs and identify the best approaches to achieve our community vision for children. United Way then brings together community partners to find solutions that focus on the root cause of problems, provide lasting change and prepare children for success.

Lasting Solutions
We believe the careful investment of funds in quality programs is one solution that ensures children, youth and their families receive the help they need.

But sometimes needs are more complex than programs can tackle alone. These needs require action that influences change to an entire service delivery system. Through Success By 6, United Way leads the way to holistic solutions that are better meeting today's challenges.
